Restoring Hope

Restoration Initiative

Welcome to Grace and Mercy Establishment

Healing, Growth, and Resilience for Youth and Adults
Grace and Mercy Establishment is a Joint Commission–accredited, faith-based behavioral health facility providing trauma-informed therapy and supportive programs for individuals and families. Our evidence-based services are designed to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and personal growth—delivered in a safe, structured, and clinically guided environment. Many programs are covered by Medicaid or private insurance, and financial assistance is available to ensure access for all.

Welcome to Grace and Mercy Establishment.

Grace and Mercy Establishment is a trauma-informed mental health and advocacy agency committed to restoring dignity, healing, and opportunity to individuals impacted by trauma. While our organization provides a range of mental health and wellness services, the heart and foundation of our work began with one mission: supporting survivors of sexual assault.

Our Sexual Assault Support Program is the first and original standalone program of Grace and Mercy Establishment and will always remain a central pillar of our organization. This program was intentionally built to ensure that survivors have access to compassionate support, advocacy, and resources that prioritize their safety, healing, and empowerment.

Grace and Mercy Establishment was founded by Tuneko Purnell, a victim turned survivor who transformed personal pain into a purpose-driven mission. As Founder and Executive Director, Tuneko created this organization to bridge the gaps that many survivors face after experiencing sexual violence. Her vision was to build a place where survivors are not only heard, but believed, supported, and guided through a path of healing.

Our approach goes beyond crisis response. We believe survivors deserve long-term support that addresses the emotional, psychological, and social impact of trauma. Through trauma-informed care, advocacy, mental health services, and empowerment programs, Grace and Mercy Establishment works to help survivors rebuild confidence, restore their sense of identity, and reclaim their futures.

At Grace and Mercy Establishment, we believe that every survivor deserves a safe space, a supportive community, and access to resources that promote healing and hope. Our commitment is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and the belief that transformation is possible when survivors are surrounded by grace, mercy, and unwavering support.

Grace and Mercy Establishment stands as a place where survivors are empowered, voices are restored, and healing begins.
